Chantel Whitmore
Chantel is eager for the up-and-coming season to be the Head Softball Coach for the Paladin 12u Program. Her extensive experience in coaching and commitment to fostering athletic growth aligns perfectly with the goals of our softball program. Throughout her coaching experience, she has demonstrated the ability to lead teams toward achieving their goals while maintaining a positive and competitive environment. Her coaching philosophy emphasizes teamwork, skill enhancement, and creating a supportive atmosphere that enables players to reach their full potential. By focusing on these areas, Chantel has consistently facilitated both team success and individual player growth.
In her previous roles, Chantel has been responsible for various aspects of team management, including designing and implementing effective practice plans, developing game strategies, and building strong relationships with players and their families. These experiences have equipped her with the skills necessary to excel in a coaching position and contribute meaningfully to a sports program.

HC: Justin Eden
Happily married for eight years, Coach Eden is a proud father to a nine-year-old daughter, Kaitlynn. Born and raised in Mesa, Arizona, he has a strong passion for sports, having played semi-pro football and coached at that level for a total of three years. Over the past four years, he has coached his daughter’s teams in softball (coach pitch and fastpitch) and volleyball, while also bringing his experience to baseball and soccer.
This is Coach Eden’s first season with Paladin, but his involvement with East Valley leagues goes back to his childhood. He is thrilled to coach and inspire young athletes, believing that with dedication and hard work, they can achieve anything they set their minds to. His goal is to help the girls grow, showing them that it’s possible to be both competitive and have fun at the same time.

HC: Tristan Jorgenson
With over eight years of coaching experience in Little League and club softball, Coach T is passionate about fostering skill development, teamwork, and a love for the game. As a proud husband and father of two daughters who play club softball, Coach T brings a family-oriented approach to every team he mentors.
He is deeply aligned with Paladin’s mission to transform the culture of sports, creating an environment where athletes thrive both on and off the field. Coach T is committed to teaching not only the fundamentals of the game but also the values of respect, resilience, and sportsmanship.
HC: Dan Cook
Dan Cook is a husband and father of two wonderful girls. He is a valley native, born and raised in Mesa and he has been coaching softball for the past eight years.
Dan is also a Big Brother for the Big Brothers program here in Arizona. He has been involved in coaching recreational sports for the past 10 years and previously served on the board of directors for San Tan Valley Little League.
He is passionate about being a positive role model for kids and Dan’s goal is to empower kids to achieve their dreams on and off the field. |
HC: Dan Powe
Dan and his Wife Lisa have been in AZ for almost 19 years and have been a part of Paladin sports outreach off and on for the better part of their time here from coaching basketball, tee ball, playing men’s softball to managing his daughter Paetyn’s 14U club softball team. He looks forward to coaching throughout her youth. From Southern California Dan grew up on the Baseball diamond and the Basketball courts playing and coaching many years. “I believe having Christ the center of youth sports encourages kids to lead a faith-based life beyond sports and into adulthood, I look forward to stepping on the diamond each and every day with this group of girls.”

HC: Jason Bane
Jason Bane and his wife, Laura have been long-time supporters of Paladin Sports Outreach. Jason has been a coach with Paladin for over ten years, coaching his son, Hayden, in basketball and club baseball, and his daughter, Brooke, in club softball.
As an athlete himself, Jason whole-heartedly believes in the mission of Paladin to change the culture of sports and has enjoyed developing and teaching all of the athletes he’s had the opportunity to coach.
