Ty Schraufnagel is a local small business owner and serves as the President of the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce. He is also the Chief Financial Officer for the Youth Leader Summit. As a former college athlete with a passion for sports, youth, and service, Ty has been very excited about Paladin Sports Outreach and what it brings to families in the area. With an amazing wife and two growing boys, Paladin Sports Outreach has been a perfect place to lay roots for his family and get very involved in the community. Ty feels very blessed to have the opportunity to serve through Paladin Sports Outreach and is very excited to see where God takes the organization.
Matt Rhoton is a Sr. Director for EdPlus at Arizona State University. Growing up in Indiana, Matt was a high school athlete where he participated in cross country, basketball, and baseball while a member of FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes). He and his amazing wife moved to the San Tan Valley area 12 years ago to raise their 4 children. As a coach and board member for Paladin Sports, Matt is blessed to serve Him and the community using the medium of sports to introduce, encourage and empower youth to make a difference for Christ.
Marcus Thrall along with his wife and daughter have lived in the San Tan Valley area for 7 years. He is a Service Engineer for a worldwide machine tool manufacturer. He was raised in small town in Missouri where he played soccer and baseball. A lifelong love of sports continues today as he plays and coaches. His goal is to instill a love of sports, a sense of achievement and a positive self image in our youth. Paladin gives him the ability to do just that while demonstrating the grace of God.
Blake Wilsford is a loving husband to his beautiful wife Lindsay and a dedicated father to his three boys, Ryan, Kenny and Easton. He and his family enjoy playing sports, swimming, going to the movies and reading together. He is currently the Family Pastor at LifePoint Church in San Tan Valley where he and his family have lived for 13 years. Blake’s love for sports began early on in his life at the age of 5 and by the age of 14 learned his true passion was baseball. He started all 4 years on his high school varsity baseball team earning the honors of All-District, All-State and USA Today All American his senior season in 1997 as well as being drafted by the New York Yankees that same year. Blake decided to head to college where his first two years he was the starting shortstop for Volunteer State. Earning All-Conference honors he helped lead his team to a #1 national ranking and an appearance in the 1999 Junior College World Series. He then finished his career at Union University, earning All-Conference honors his junior and senior seasons. As a believer in Jesus Christ, Blake is excited to serve his community as the Executive Director of Paladin Sports Outreach.
Emily and her husband Frank have lived in San Tan Valley since 2007. They are raising thier two daughters Davyn and Ashlyn. They have been Foster parents since 2012 and continue to foster young girls in the Arizona Foster Care System. Emily was raised in Arizona and played sports from age 4 all the way throught High School. Emily played a sport all three seasons during High School with Softball being her top sport. Emily started a Fellowship Of Christian Athletes huddle at her High School and was involed at many of the FCA camps. Emily was a hair stylist and owned her own buisness for 15 years. Emilys love for sports and youth led her to Paladin Sports Outreach where she is able to serve her community.
Jared, his wife Brandy of 14 years and their sons are big time sports fanatics and play just about anything they can get their hands on. Jared coached high school basketball for a number of years at his alma mater in CA and brought his love for the game to AZ where he has coached locally for various organizations, including the 2 club teams for The Knights Club Basketball program. He currently is on the board as the basketball director and his 2 sons have grown up in the Paladin Sports organization from the time they were 3 to now.
Hayley is a work-at-home mom that’s never home. She and her husband, Ty, are raising two boys that love sports, so you can usually find her in her car on the way to a field or gym somewhere. In addition to running a local small business with Ty, she also serves as the event coordinator at Apex Gatherings through the Apex Leadership Institute in Minnesota. Besides her family, Hayley’s other passions include traveling, attention to detail, good grammar, and cake.
