Year-round basketball fun with Paladin Basketball Club
Paladin Basketball Club’s Select Basketball program is a developmental basketball program for boys and girls offered each Spring and Fall.
Select Basketball is a program designed to introduce and transition players from recreation leagues to more competitive club leagues and tournaments. Our teams participate in local leagues and tournaments. All teams are led by experienced coaches who teach the foundations of technical and tactical basketball.
Our athletes are introduced to technical skills enhancement, fitness and fundamental basketball strategy. Coaches will share the message of Jesus with our athletes through small group time and pray before practices and games to further give the glory to God!
Paladin Assessment Day – Spring Season
We are excited to announce our Assessment Day for the upcoming season of Select Basketball.
Assessment Details:
- Dates: Saturday, February 1 and Saturday, February 8
Players need only register for one assessment. - Time: 9:00 – 10:00 a.m.
- Location: Mountain Vista Academy
- Ages: 4th-7th Grade boys and girls

2024-25 Select Basketball Details:
- Faith-based program
- Select Basketball does not require a tryout, but our coaches do conduct assessments prior to the season. At the conclusion of each assessment, it will be communicated as to where a player will be placed – whether it be a recommendation for another season of rec basketball, a Select Team designation, or an invitation to try out for club basketball.
- Season Play:
- Just4Hoopin @ The Lab
- March – May
- One (1) midseason or postseason tournament
- Ages:
- Boys: 4-7 Grade
- Girls: 4-7 Grade
- Fees:
- $50 Registration fee
- $115 month (February – May)
- Practice Times & Locations:
- Tuesday and Thursdays
- Location: TBD (in San Tan Valley or Queen Creek)
*Fees cover uniform, practices, league play and one (1) tournament.
2024-25 Select Program Dates
- Fall Season
- Assessments: July 20 and 27
- League Play: August – December
- Spring Season
- Assessments: February 1 and 8
- League Play: March – May
