PALADIN CLUB SPORTS UPDATE: APRIL 2023

We are only three months into 2023 and there are already so many awesome things going on with our Paladin Club Sports programs. Check out some of the amazing things that our club teams and players are accomplishing and stay in the loop on all things Paladin!

Paladin Club Sports continues to grow! We are excited to announce the formation of our soccer club, Paladin SC! The club will hold their tryouts May 5-6 at Eastmark High School. Our softball club also has exciting news, adding a second team that will be coached by former NCAA National Champion Kristen Miller! Check out all the details below.

BASEBALL CLUB UPDATE

“God is definitely moving within the Paladin organization. I’m looking forward to seeing kids grow in their faith, learn new skills and compete on the baseball field, and see families meet lifelong friends. Baseball is an amazing sport that can teach kids skills not only on the field but in life and when you keep God first, the sky is the limit.”

– Kevin Bell
Director, Paladin Baseball Club

Honoring Christ in Wins & Losses

The 13U Paladin Baseball team was walked off in the bottom of the seventh inning. A painful loss followed by an incredible study and conversation about Jesus. How incredible to see Jesus honored even in defeat!

“Paladin Softball Club is excited to see what’s in store for 2023. Our 12U girls are not only doing amazing things on the field but most importantly their growth in Jesus is evident to everyone the girls come in contact with. Umpires, tournament directors, other coaches and athletes always have very positive things to say about Paladin Softball Club.”

– Emily Ruiz
Interim Director, Paladin Softball Club

We are Growing!

We have announced the addition of former ASU standout softball player, and 2008 National Champion, Kristen Miller to the Paladin Softball Club staff. Miller will be forming and coaching a new 2010 girls softball team. Paladin Softball Club will hold open tryouts on Tuesday, April 4, 11 & 18 from 7-9 pm at Legacy Sports Complex for a 2010 girls team to be coached by Miller. You can register here.

Congratulations Paladin 12u!

Paladin 12U softball goes 6-0 in the March Madness tournament over the weekend. Brooke Bane #22 pitches, with an 8-2 victory in the championship game.

“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to launch Paladin SC and honored to be part of the Paladin family. My desire for this program is to develop amazing coaches with the heart of Jesus and players with integrity, respect and passion for the game.”

– Jenn Oney
Director, Paladin Soccer Club

Paladin Soccer Club has Arrived!

Welcome Our New Club Football Director!

Koty Schwarz has a passion for all things sports, children, and Jesus. He and his wife, Lindsay, have recently moved from the Midwest to San Tan Valley where they raise their two boys, Brayden and Karsyn. They were led to Paladin shortly after they arrived and have grown more involved ever since. Growing up, Koty was an excellent athlete all around but excelled greatly in football and wrestling. He attended Concordia University where he wrestled and played football before joining the Army National Guard.

We are excited to have Koty on board and look forward to watching our new Football Club grow!
