Paladin Sports Outreach Launches in South Tucson with Free Youth Soccer Clinic
New area leadership, expanded youth sports opportunities, and a free community soccer clinic mark the beginning of Paladin’s newest Arizona location.
Paladin Sports Outreach is excited to announce the official launch of Paladin South Tucson, expanding the organization’s mission of using sports to share faith, build character, and strengthen families throughout Southern Arizona.
To celebrate the launch, Paladin will host a FREE Soccer Clinic for boys and girls ages 3–8 on Saturday, August 29, from 8:30–10:00 a.m. at John F. Kennedy Park (3700 S. Mission Rd., Tucson, AZ 85713). The clinic is open to families throughout South Tucson and the surrounding communities and will introduce children to the game in a fun, encouraging, and developmentally appropriate environment.
The event also marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter under the leadership of Myles Gantt, who has joined Paladin Sports Outreach as the Area Director for the Tucson region.
Expanding the Mission in Southern Arizona
Since 2008, Paladin Sports Outreach has served thousands of children and families through recreational sports leagues, camps, clinics, club programs, and outreach initiatives designed to impact lives both on and off the field.
Unlike many traditional youth sports organizations, Paladin intentionally combines athletic development with character formation and faith-based mentorship. Every program is designed to create an environment where children are encouraged, families feel welcomed, and coaches serve as positive role models.
The launch of Paladin South Tucson reflects the organization’s continued commitment to making high-quality youth sports more accessible throughout Arizona.
“Our desire is to become more than just another sports league,” said Jason Best, Founder of Paladin Sports Outreach. “We want to become part of the fabric of the South Tucson community by serving families well, investing in children, and creating opportunities for lasting relationships through sports.”
Meet South Tucson Area Director Myles Gantt
Leading the new South Tucson location is Myles Gantt, a passionate mentor who believes sports provide one of the greatest opportunities to shape the next generation.
Myles is dedicated to helping young people discover their purpose, develop strong character, and become positive influences within their communities. Guided by his faith in Jesus Christ, he believes true leadership begins with integrity, discipline, humility, and a heart for serving others.
As Area Director, Myles will oversee Paladin’s recreational sports programming throughout the Tucson area while building relationships with local schools, churches, volunteers, coaches, and community partners. His vision is to create a welcoming environment where every child has the opportunity to grow both as an athlete and as a person.
“I’m excited to serve the families of South Tucson and build something that impacts our community for years to come,” said Gantt. “Sports have the power to bring people together, and we’re looking forward to creating a place where kids can have fun, build confidence, and experience the love of Christ through authentic relationships.”

The organization’s goal is to create year-round opportunities for children to participate in positive, affordable sports experiences while strengthening families and building lasting community connections.
